I know, it's been a while... But here are some pictures from the past several weeks!

I wanted to get another night shot of the Transamerica building, but from street view.

Saint Peter and Paul Church from Washington Square Park.

I made my way down to Half Moon Bay several weeks ago to go tide pooling. I've never gone so it was fun going out to the beach and finding sea animals stuck in rock crevices. This is one of several star fish I found, but you could also see crabs and a ton of hermit crabs. Unfortunately, the rocky area was fairly slippery, so I had to quickly put my camera away in fear of it breaking on a fall. =\

I can't help but love Indian food. There's this hole the wall Indian restaurant by Powell called Little Delhi (read yelp review here) that serves the best chicken tikka masala! I used to frequent this place often, but naan is just so full of carbs I've had to limit myself. =\

Found this bulldog at Union Square begging for food from her master. I asked if I could take a picture of her dog and the owner gave me a peanut to feed her.

I'm typically not drawn to cats, but Jean and I found this giant cow colored cat in Chinatown eating bamboo leaves and I couldn't help but take a picture of it.

I have a friend who's moving out of the neighborhood, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to take pictures from his side of town. He has a much better view of Russian Hill and Lombard, and since it was cloudy last night, I came back with some interesting shots. Enjoy!

These are the building right in front of his place, and if you look further up the hill, you can see Russian Hill.

The Transamerica Building and Saint Peter and Paul Church.

The street cutting across the picture is Lombard and at the top, you can see the zig-zag portion of the road.

Another picture of Russian Hill and portions of Nob Hill.

A man and his dog... I've been meaning to take pictures for Ryan to post on his site these past few weeks and we finally got together this morning. Thought these photos below really captured the "man's best friend" vibe. Also, I got back from Vegas last week and have a few of those photos posted below as well. Enjoy!

This is my favorite picture from this morning. I like how it seems like Ryan's talking to JB and JB has this shocked look on his face. As if he could understand what Ryan's saying.

This is a shot in front of Ryan's place. JB kept crawling on him but we managed to get this photo of JB standing still.

Ryan's hoping to use this picture with a text bubbling coming out of JB's mouth. I'll post the revised photo when I get it.

And here is a photo from Vegas. I got Jean this ridiculous drink in the shape of a giant Miller Light bottle thinking it would be cool to bring home. We eventually left it in Vegas because I could see it just taking up space here. But it was a fun concept anyway!

And here's a picture of Jean and me in front of the Bellagio. They were actually about to run their water show, but I guess I snapped this right before it happened.

As promised, here a picture of my guinea pigs. I ended up getting a 2nd one last week from this family in Berkeley. Their guinea pigs had a few accidents and they found themselves with 17 pigs, so it just made sense for both of us for me to take one from them. So welcome Heffer (the black and white one) and Boris to my family. These guys are really laid-back and a lot more loving than hamsters. For example, I can pick them up while I'm watching Hulu and they'll just sit on my lap for hours. The only bad thing is that Boris doesn't like to be pet on his head, so he always pushes your hand away when you get near his nose. Aside from that, I think they're a good pair.

The two guys sharing dinner together.

So Jean left for Peru last week to make the hike to Machu Picchu. Unfortunately, I'm not a huge outdoor fan, especially when it requires trekking through a rain forest to some abandoned city on some mountain top, so I never took her up on her offer to join her. However, from what she's written me, she's been having a pretty good trip. She had a few crazy cabbie stories and ended up meeting another girl from San Francisco who joined her on her tour to the "Old Peak". I'll share her pictures when she gets back. As for myself, I ended up getting a guinea pig on Sunday. The apartment felt too quiet without a furry animal around, so I found this cow colored pig whom I've named Heffer, to join my family. I'll post pictures of him later. He's still pretty scared, but he's coming around... As for the rest of my weekend...

This dog has the prettiest eyes I've ever seen on a dog. In fact, I wasn't the only one who mention how pretty his eyes were. I imagine if he were a girl, and if she were a human, she'd be pretty flattered.

This little guy was just some puppy at the meetup. I guess he was too young to join the rest of the dogs, but I thought it was cute her master was holding her like a baby.

I live right across from the pier and always see these cruise ships parked in front of my kitchen window... So I thought it'd be fun to photograph one tonight.
